Front Desk Team Member

St. Marys Optometry is looking for a Front Desk Team Member to join our growing team in St. Marys, ON!

We’ve been providing top-tier eye care for 15 years, and we recently moved into a brand-new, modern space. Our team is awesome (if we do say so ourselves 😉), and we take pride in our work, our technology, and the relationships we build with our patients.
This role is the heartbeat of our office. As the first and last point of contact for our patients, you help create the experience they remember.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Front Desk Team Member, you’ll keep the day flowing smoothly and ensure every patient feels welcome and cared for. You’ll:
✔️ Greet patients warmly and check them in/out
✔️ Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries professionally
✔️ Schedule appointments and manage the daily patient flow
✔️ Handle billing, invoices, and payment processing
✔️ Follow up with patients regarding appointments, eyewear, and outstanding balances
✔️ Support the team with administrative tasks and cross-train in other areas of the office

Who We’re Looking For

You’re the right fit if you:
✅ Love helping people and creating positive experiences
✅ Are highly organized and thrive in a fast-paced environment
✅ Communicate clearly and confidently (in person and on the phone)
✅ Are comfortable with technology and can type 50+ WPM
✅ Can multitask while staying calm and professional
Bonus points if you have previous experience in reception, administration, retail, or healthcare!

What We Offer

💰 $19–$20 per hour (based on experience)

📅 35–40 hours per week, one evening shift, no weekends
