Optometric Assistant

St. Marys Optometry is looking for an Optometric Assistant to join our growing team in St. Marys, ON!

We’ve been providing top-tier eye care for 15 years, and we recently moved into a brand-new, modern space. Our team is awesome (if we do say so ourselves), and we take pride in our work, our tech, and the relationships we build with patients.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Optometric Assistant, you’ll be a key part of the team, helping things run smoothly every day. You’ll:
✔️ Greet patients and conduct preliminary testing for the optometrist
✔️ Assist patients with frame selections and recommend appropriate lenses for their prescriptions
✔️ Adjust and repair eyewear
✔️ Order and receive using our office software
✔️ Teach patients how to insert, remove and care for contact lenses

Who We’re Looking For
You’re the right fit if you:

Bonus points if you have previous admin, retail, or optical experience!

💰 $20-21 per hour (based on experience)
